Anyway, it seems like different countries like to make fun of different 'type' of people such as the Europeans make fun of "dumb" blondes, Singaporeans make fun of the Indians, etc etc.. But dumb blonde jokes are the largest in number I guess.. hahaha..

So why are blondes dumb? Why blondes? Why not brunettes?

Well, unfortunately for the blondes, there exist a cultural stereotype known to the whole world that the typical "dumb blonde", while stunningly attractive, lacks both common-sense and academic intelligence. This concept is highlighted by many actresses like Marilyn Monroe, Dolly Parton and even Reese Witherspoon in the movie "Legally Blonde".

The origin of this concept is unknown but it was believed that from the early 20th century, Blonde hair was, at this time, often associated with commoners, who were ostensibly deemed less intelligent.

Since then, people have came up with numerous jokes about them in which some are.. too dumb.

Question: If a blonde and a brunette fell off a building, who would hit the ground first?
Answer: The brunette - the blonde would have to ask for directions!

A blonde asked someone what time it was, and they told her it was 4:45. The blonde, with a puzzled look on her face replied,
"You know, it's the weirdest thing, I have been asking that question all day, and each time I get a different answer."

-I don't mean to offend anyone with these jokes and I acknowledge that not all blondes are as dumb and some are in fact highly intelligent.
